Q: What is Aldermark?

A: Aldermark is the flexible, full-service agency for branding, marketing and graphic design services.


Q: What does Aldermark do?

A: We support businesses and brands at every stage of their journey, from name development and logo design to creative marketing campaign concepts, rebranding and everything in between.


Q: How does your full agency service differ from your Aldermark: Startups service?

A: Our full agency service follows a traditional agency model, offering complete flexibility, full access to our creative team, and the full breadth of services that you’d expect.

By contrast, the delivery of Aldermark: Startups’ branding packages is heavily streamlined, with more limited access to our team, and with fixed service plans that set out clear parameters for what will and will not be delivered.


Q: Where is Aldermark based?

A: Our registered office is in Bridgend, UK, with members of our team working together remotely from locations across the UK. Through the power and convenience of modern communications we work closely with clients all over the UK, and around the world.


Q: How will investing in your services benefit my business?

A: Our service offering includes everything you’ll need to create consistent, on-brand communications and position your business for long term success. Investing in our services will add value to your product or service, encourage strong customer engagement, and help you make a bigger impact on the market. There are a whole host of other potential benefits too, which one of our consultants would be happy to discuss with you.


Q: How will Aldermark communicate with me?

A: When you first reach out to us you’ll be assigned an experienced branding consultant who will coordinate with you before, during and after your project.

Your branding consultant will be available to you at any time during office hours, via telephone, email and video conferencing.

Should you wish to schedule a face to face meeting with your branding consultant we’d be delighted to meet with you at one of our locations, or at your premises subject to appropriate fees.


Q: How long does it take to complete delivery of your services?

A: The length of any branding project is highly variable - no two are the same. Some projects are completed exceptionally quickly, whilst others take much longer than anticipated.

We aim to deliver all of your proposals and materials in a timely manner. Beyond this it depends on a range of factors such as how long you feel you need to consider your feedback at each stage, how many rounds of revisions are required and the scope of the revisions.

If you have a specific deadline in mind please let us know and we will always do our very best to accommodate you.


Q: How much do you charge for your services?

A: The requirements and expectations for every project are different, and as such it’s generally not possible to provide an upfront quote without first discussing your project in detail.

Following a detailed discussion, we’d be very pleased to provide you with an indicative quote. We always do our very best to be as transparent as possible about costs, and we do try to agree a clear final price before initiating a project.

However, there are exceptional circumstances in which additional costs can arise whilst the project is underway - you’ll always be notified of these additional costs as early as possible, and the choice about whether or not to go ahead will always be yours.


Q: What are the payment arrangements?

A: We usually request a 50% deposit for the agreed scope of work at the start of the project, followed by the final 50% when the project is concluded and all materials have been approved/delivered. We are however able to be flexible on this. For very large projects in particular, it often makes sense to split the total into four or more payments to be made as various milestones are reached

Payments can be made by credit or debit card via our secure eCommerce platform. Alternatively, payments can be completed via bank transfer. International clients are asked to cover any bank charges that may be incurred as a result of making payments in a foreign currency.


Q: Who owns the logo and other materials that Aldermark will develop for my business?

A: As soon as your final payment is processed, any work that you've approved and elected to use belongs to you (this will be covered in your service agreement).

Before that time, we are happy for you to use the work we’ve delivered for you under non-exclusive copyright. However, Aldermark can revoke your usage rights if you fail to honour the payment terms set out in your service agreement. Aldermark would then become the sole owner of these materials until the remaining payment is received.

Any designs or materials that we propose, but which you elect not use, remain the property of Aldermark.
